Materials

  • 8 waffle cones
  • 32 cups whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 1 and 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1/2 tablespoon semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pistachios
  • 1 tablespoon candied orange peel
  • 1/2 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and orange zest. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  • If using a piping bag, transfer the ricotta filling into it for easy filling of the cones. Otherwise, use a spoon to fill each waffle cone with the ricotta mixture.
  • Sprinkle chocolate chips, chopped pistachios, and candied orange peel on top of the ricotta filling, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  • Drizzle honey over the filled Cannoli Cones for an extra touch of sweetness and flavor.
  • Serve the Cannoli Cones immediately, or place them in the refrigerator for X minutes to chill before serving.
